I shop at yokohama sogo often for so many purposes. They have everything you need like books, food, clothing, musical instruments and more. They are also always clean and the employees there are well trained. If you are at yokohama and looking for something but you dont know where to go, sogo is the place!

The fanciest of the fancy malls. Nice that its directly connected to Yokohama station and Bay Quarter.

Nice high end department store featuring most of the popular international shops like Ralph Lauren, lacoste, etc. I saw an art exhibition on the sixth floor that was nice. Not so crowded compared with exhibitions in Ueno.

I still cannot visit all floors / departments of this Sogo. But I always visit Supermarket and traditional souvenirs part . Their supermarket is good for the foreigners, because there are many import products what the foreigners can having their own authentic foods. Of course, it is expensive.

Old but good departments

The last 5-star classic Japanese store with best goods and service. Neither Isetan, not Takashimaya could keep this level.

One of the nicest department store in Kanto. Love the huge Seiko clock at the entrance.

Lots of stuff to buy and staff are very friendly and eager to help. I especially love to visit the basement area for their wide varieties of cakes,breads and fresh seafood. Sogo always held bargain sales on specific months and it's really worth looking out for it

Rich shopping mall , feels like you can buy all you want , at the 6th floor an exhibition space always perform interesting art works this time okusai and the views of mount fuji

I like this mall. Why - you need to go to Sogo between 07:00pm and 08:00pm to the food area at the basement. The fresh, and cooked food will be sold at that time with special conditions (between 10%-40% price discount). I can recommend especially fish (Sushi and Sashimi).

This department store is fairly spacious. They have good kids clothes and stationary is on the 8 floor where I found my daughters school starting kits.The B2 basement has great selections for food and dessert. I can never walk pass without buying anything! My favorite desert would be cakes from Foundry. You can see from its size versus price why there is frequently a long queue!

The best department store in Yokohama. A little pricey but service and quality is top notch.

Fancy shopping center. A little bit too many mama-shops but they have some nice restaurants. Great place for desserts and chocolate!

Very nice department store. The prices seem very high in comparison to the UK. Service is great as you can imagine from Japanese staff. I bought some shoes from one of the stores and despite the staff only being able to speak 2 or 3 words of English, they tried their hardest to give me as much information as I needed. They would use google translate to help. They were very nice.

So many delicious choices for food. Many choices of variet of products!

Convenient and has all that you'd need. Buy gifts for friends, home stuff, toiletries. They have most brands you'd need. From something as basic as Muji, to something as luxurious as Chanel. Their food floor is also amazing. It has my favorite Jasmine Place. They also have a very interesting basement floor with a wide selection of food kiosks like Marlowe, Pierre Herme, Laduree, Foundry, Dean and DeLuca, etc. For bakers like me, they also have Tomizawa.

If you receive social security you will love it here but not be able to afford it (it's for older people, but expensive)

Sogo is a fantastic place to get sweets or and deli like food. They have a giant room filled with stores and food vendors all having something special to offer you.

Great restaurant alley on 10th floor then wander through the excellent shopping displays on the way back down, one level at a time.

Went during the January sales and it was absolute chaos. An enormous mall though. You can find pretty much anything there.

Located next to the train station and connected by a underground shopping mall. Great variety of goods, restaurants and not forgetting the local Japanese snacks that I love most. Should give a visit if you are in Yokohama.

This place is Amazing!!! All kinds of food choices in a beautiful open setting!! Many different counters with various foods and pastries! It is like a central marketplace!
